The game is listed for PS5 on the US PlayStation Store, although its release date remains unconfirmed.

Runs built around multiple timelines

According to the trailer’s official description, players take on the role of a “time hacker” who can move across multiple timelines. The structure combines action-platforming with roguelike progression, allowing players to collect items, search for clues and piece together the truth before confronting a final boss.

The game’s combat is also presented as a configurable system. The PlayStation Store page describes customizable builds designed to suit different playstyles, alongside flashy moves and aerial combat. That combination could give each run a more deliberate build-crafting focus, though the available material does not yet establish the full scope of its progression systems.

Release details remain unsettled

The PlayStation Store confirms a PS5 version and identifies Nuverse (Hong Kong) Limited as the publisher. It currently lists the release status as “Release date to be determined,” so there is no officially confirmed launch date or window in the store listing.

Gematsu reports that SlashZero is planned for PS5 and PC in spring 2027, and attributes the project to developer Streetlamp Studio and publisher Skystone Games. Gematsu also reports that a limited-time demo is available for PS5 and on PC via Steam until September 23 at 3:00 p.m. PT / 6:00 p.m. ET.

Those details have not been reconciled with the PlayStation Store information reviewed for this article. In particular, the store’s Nuverse (Hong Kong) Limited listing differs from Gematsu’s attribution to Skystone Games, while the store still has no determined release date. Availability of the game or demo may also vary by territory, since the official store page consulted is from the en-US region.

For now, the gameplay trailer establishes SlashZero as a PS5-listed action roguelike with a distinctive timeline-based premise. More information from PlayStation, Streetlamp Studio or Skystone Games will be needed to clarify the launch window, publisher relationship and supported platforms.
