Guide: These 21+ PS5 Games Are Coming Out This Week (7th-13th September)

Push Square reports that 21 PlayStation releases are scheduled for the week of September 7–13, 2026. The list puts Mewgenics, Valheim and Hot Wheels Infinite Rush among the main games to watch, although the available evidence does not independently confirm every listed date, platform or region.

There is stronger primary confirmation for two of the week’s prominent releases. Mewgenics is listed by PlayStation.Blog as a PS5 game coming on September 8. The US PlayStation Store currently represents that release as September 7 at 9:00 p.m. PDT, which corresponds to September 8 at 4:00 a.m. UTC.

Valheim 1.0 has been announced by Iron Gate for September 9, with a PS5 version joining the PC, Xbox and Nintendo Switch 2 releases. The game’s US PlayStation Store page confirms the PS5 version but currently displays only 2026, so the September 9 date comes from the developer’s announcement rather than the store listing.

Hot Wheels Infinite Rush requires more caution. Milestone’s launch announcement gives September 10, 2026, for PS5 and other platforms, with early access beginning September 7. However, the current US PlayStation Store product page displays September 24, and the current Milestone game page also shows 09.10.2026. The available sources do not establish whether this reflects a delay, a regional or edition-specific listing, or a later store update.

The full Push Square agenda also includes Port of Jumanah, Bus Simulator 27, Culdcept: The First Saturn Tribute, Halloween: The Game, Honeycomb: The World Beyond, Sprawl Zero, Supermarket Simulator Manager, Aerial_Knight’s Mr Freezy, Barbarian Saga: The Beastmaker, Earth Must Die, The Alighieri Circle: Dante’s Bloodline, Touhou Koumakyou: New Classic – The Embodiment of Scarlet Devil, Brokenlore: Don’t Lie, Dumb Ways to Build, Hazard Pay, RIN: The Last Child and NHL 27. These entries remain part of Push Square’s reported schedule and were not individually verified through primary sources in the available research.

One classification also needs correcting when reading the list. Push Square identifies Detective VR as a September 9 PSVR2 release, so it should not be treated as a conventional PS5 game simply because it appears in a guide framed around PS5 releases.

Regional availability is another unresolved point. The research checked US PlayStation Store pages and found UK store links associated with much of the Push Square list, but it did not establish reliable Brazil-specific dates or availability. Store listings can also differ because of local release times, UTC conversion, product editions or later changes.
