Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 3 will reportedly contain no generative AI, according to comments attributed to Saber Interactive development chief Tim Willits in an IGN interview at Gamescom.
“There is absolutely no generative AI in Space Marine 3 or Hellraiser or Stuntman or Turok or Jurassic Park, or Wick,” Willits said, according to IGN’s report. The statement covers Space Marine 3 alongside several other Saber projects, but it was not published as a separate written announcement by Saber Interactive in the available evidence.
The comments arrived after scrutiny surrounding Rideshare Stimulator, a Saber game associated in recent reporting with concerns over generative AI. The game—not its developer—was the subject of those reports; Saber Interactive is the developer. Space Marine 3 itself is confirmed to be in development through a partnership between Saber Interactive, Focus Entertainment and Games Workshop.
