PlayStation’s official channel has published the Season 4 trailer for LET IT DIE: INFERNO, with the new season bringing 21 maps to Hell Gate and removing the game’s PvEvP focus. Season 4 began on September 8, 2026, and is scheduled to run through December 7.

According to GungHo Online Entertainment, the update reshapes Hell Gate into a fully PvE-focused roguelite experience. PvEvP has been removed, while Duo Mode remains available for online cooperative play.

The 21 new maps include settings such as an arcade filled with mushrooms, Japanese hot springs, a festival, a shopping street and a parking structure. GungHo also lists new enemies, a third and final phase for the Gomamusha boss fight, and two new weapons: Chela and Chemical Popper.

That makes the season’s main change structural rather than merely additive. Hell Gate is receiving a larger set of environments, while runs are no longer built around the threat of direct player-versus-player encounters. The available information does not explain whether all 21 maps launched at once or whether any are unlocked progressively.

LET IT DIE: INFERNO is available on PS5 through the PlayStation Store, with PS5 Pro Enhanced support and online play for up to eight players with a PlayStation Plus subscription. The game’s seasonal structure also matters here: PlayStation says each new season resets story progress, Raider Rank, inventory and masteries, although some elements are not reset.

The official announcement confirms the season’s dates and its broad PvE direction, but it does not provide regional activation times, detailed progression rules, rewards or a full explanation of how the new system affects difficulty and run structure. No version for another platform was confirmed in the supplied sources.
