A Video Games Chronicle guide reports where players can find Vicho during A Study In Crimson, a side quest in The Blood of Dawnwalker. The guide also examines whether he was responsible for the deaths of Eli and Devora.
Spoiler warning: The following paragraphs discuss the reported suspect and the investigation’s direction.
According to VGC, Vicho lives inside a shop in the northern-central part of Svartrau. The lower entrance is locked, so the guide says players must use Coen’s Shadowstep ability to reach the second-floor balcony and enter from above.
The publication concludes that Vicho was probably the culprit. VGC’s guide also says a later quest essentially confirms that interpretation and suggests players can prevent Vicho from hurting anyone else. Those details remain attributed to the guide rather than independently confirmed by an official source.
A separate Game8 walkthrough identifies A Study In Crimson as a night-time side quest that begins at Vicho’s Emporium. Its listed objectives include investigating the jeweller’s house and the doctor’s house, entering a warehouse and defeating Doctor Simeon. Game8 lists a four-segment time cost, 250 XP and one skill point as rewards, but does not establish on its page that Vicho is the murderer.
The official Rebel Wolves and Bandai Namco site describes The Blood of Dawnwalker as an open-world dark fantasy action RPG in which Coen is human by day and a vampire by night. Its broader “Every Action Matters” premise makes the investigation relevant to players weighing their decisions, but it does not confirm any specific consequence, alternate outcome or lockout tied to Vicho.
The game is available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. PlayStation’s official listing confirms a PS5 version, PS5 Pro Enhanced support, offline single-player play and Brazilian Portuguese screen language support. None of the official pages consulted mention A Study In Crimson or Vicho by name, so the quest’s reported solution and any later consequences should be treated as VGC’s account until they receive primary confirmation.
