PlayStation has published an official first look at Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4’s campaign mission “Stranded,” giving PS5 players a brief look at a squad moving through hostile territory in North Korea.
The official video description frames the mission around a squad that is surrounded and hunted while trying to navigate deep inside North Korea. The available transcript begins with characters mentioning nearby red lights and saying that shelter should be close: “See those red lights? Shelter should be close.”
The transcript also includes the lines, “Execute. Let’s move,” followed by the order, “You don’t leave until the mission is complete.” The available material does not identify the speakers, so the lines cannot be attributed to a specific character.
PlayStation previously confirmed that Modern Warfare 4 includes a single-player campaign. The game is listed for PS5, with PS5 Pro enhancements, and is scheduled to launch on October 23, 2026.
The official PlayStation game page specifies that the title is not available on PS4. The video’s “PS5 Games” label identifies the presentation’s platform context, but it does not establish that “Stranded” or the full game is exclusive to PS5.
Activision’s official game page also lists the campaign as taking place during an invasion of the Korean Peninsula and identifies Private Park as a young South Korean soldier fighting alongside her squad. The available information does not establish whether Private Park appears in “Stranded,” nor does it confirm how the mission fits into the campaign’s overall structure.
